Apple has just announced their all new iPhone models, the 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, man that last one is a mouthful. Anyway, enough with the new names, lets take a closer look at what else Apple has changed.
This new iPhone is almost only an S upgrade. With only a couple minor speed and Battery upgrades, and a better camera setup, to differentiate itself from last years model. is it enough to win the hearts of Apple fanatics? Well… Probably. Apple could literally change nothing about their old iPhone and sell it as a new one and people would still go out and purchase the new one.
Thankfully, Apple has done quite a significant amount of work to the camera system and an actual improvement i=n battery life that might actually make upgrading worthwhile. All the new iPhone’s feature a larger battery than last year, and promise to deliver a few hour longer battery life.
Thank’s to all of Apple’s crazy marketing terms, people are actually talking about some of the more interesting features. For instance, Apple announced their new Super Retina XDR display system. This is actually a pretty cool piece of kit, enabling your iPhone’s display to be the best display in the industry. With features such as 1200 nits peak brightness, OLED display technology and P3 colour, the new iPhone will be more colour accurate, be able to get brighter and darker than most TV’s.
So I guess that begs the question, Is it worth me upgrading my old iPhone to the new iPhone? Well, unfortunately, that decision is up to you.
