Intel patches eight high severity vulnerabilities in their NUC PC’s and RAID cards

Intel has patched 8 high severity security flaws in its NUC mini PC’s. Security researchers have rated the vulnerability’s between 8.2 and 7.5 out of 10. Consequently the two most severe vulnerability’s, had the potential to allow a privileged user to enable escalation of privilege, denial of service or information disclosure.

Further the remainder of the high severity vulnerabilities included read/right flaws, pointer corruption glitches and insufficient input validation.

Additionally, Intel has released a list of all products affected and has advised that users of the affected products upgrade their firmware. The full list of product is available Here.
